Job Title: MRI Technologist

Location: Brattleboro, VT

Shift Type: Days

Shift Schedule: Thursday - Sunday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Salary Median: $104,601 annually (based on experience)

Position Summary:

The MRI Technologist will work independently under limited supervision and report to the Director of Radiology and the Medical Director. This position requires strong technical knowledge, independent judgment, and a deep understanding of MRI safety protocols. You'll work with a consultative and collaborative radiology team offering a wide range of diagnostic imaging services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI procedures using established protocols
• Operate MRI equipment and ensure safety compliance at all times
• Use independent judgment and initiative in imaging technique
• Maintain accurate records and imaging documentation
• Provide compassionate care to patients of all ages
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff for optimal patient outcomes

Department Overview:

The Radiology Department offers a full range of services including:

• Diagnostic Radiology
• Nuclear Medicine
• Ultrasound
• CT
• Interventional Radiography
• MRI
• Bone Density
• Mammography

The department is staffed by licensed technologists and radiologists and provides care 24/7 to inpatients, outpatients, and emergency patients.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Certification and licensure as an MRI Technologist
• Demonstrated proficiency with MRI equipment and safety standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• A patient-centered approach and professionalism in all interactions
