The Role:

We are seeking a true endorsements agent with deep experience in the entertainment and music industry, ideally from an agency or a management company. This individual will have familiarity with the nuances of working with talent and brands, as well as expertise in securing endorsements and tour sponsorships. The role will report into the Head of Endorsements and will require someone who can work independently through all phases of talent/brand partnerships, from prospecting and cold outreach to creating pitch decks, contract negotiation, and executing deliverables. The ideal candidate will think strategically to secure deals that align with the talent’s brand while ensuring revenue targets are met. To be considered for this role, you must have strong relationships with Talent Buyers, brokers and direct brand.

Role Description:

  • Brainstorm strategic brand partners for talent based on interests, personality, and upcoming projects. Manage an active tracking grid for internal sharing and create external pitch decks.
  • Maintain an extensive network of brand and agency relationships for targeted outreach.
  • Demonstrate effective cold outreach and conversion.
  • Manage ongoing relationships with brands and creative agencies to keep clients top of mind for new opportunities.
  • Develop briefs with brands and brand agencies to create opportunities that do not currently exist.
  • Negotiate endorsement/partnership deals on behalf of clients.
  • Oversee all aspects of active partnerships with brands/agencies on behalf of talent (creative development, shoot/production days, approvals, PR, etc.).
  • Collaborate with talent managers to strategically work towards each talent’s individual goals.
  • Manage relationships with talent publicists, lawyers, business managers, and others.
  • Operate with discretion in daily interactions.
  • Stay up to date on trends in pop culture and brand marketing.
  • Navigate the industry ecosystem, attend talent team meetings and keep track of talent calendars, releases, live events, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Deep network of contacts within creative agencies and brands, including talent buyers and brokers
  • Experience working directly with celebrity clients and their teams (managers, publicists, lawyers, etc.).
  • Strong grasp of contract negotiation, specifically in talent partnerships.
  • Ability to manage multiple deals in various stages with different clients.
  • Strong attention to detail in a fast-moving environment.
  • Eagerness to wear multiple hats in a small, nimble team.
  • Must have experience in negotiating and navigating all aspects of the entertainment business: Film, TV, Music, Social Media, Tech Companies, and Gaming.
  • Experience securing tour sponsorships.
  • College degree.
  • 3-5+ yrs experience working as an endorsement agent in a similar role at a similar level
  • Experience working at an agency or management company.

Compensation:

As an employer in California, we adhere to the state's pay transparency laws. We are committed to providing transparency regarding compensation and fostering an inclusive and equitable work environment. The salary range for this position is $175,000 - $225,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
