Operations Intern (Hybrid - Paid Internship)

The Opportunity

This is a paid, hands-on, 40+ hours a week entry-level position lasting six to nine months for people interested in pursuing a career in operations.

The Operations Graduate Associate will support Method’s operations team (people and finance) and contribute to the day-to-day operations of the agency. This role will assist in activities such as recruiting efforts, performance management, resource planning, basic IT functions, financial reporting and other tasks. This is an opportunity to see left to right across the organization and begin building strong cross-functional skills for long term success in operational roles.

Work Arrangement

This role will be based in and requires working from our San Francisco or Salt Lake City offices at least three days per week.

Compensation

$20/hour

Responsibilities

• Ensuring successful ongoing running of the local office, including providing support on local events and activities, ordering supplies etc.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with third party vendors, service providers, building management and maintenance teams, etc.
• Part of agency IT/help desk to ensure limited workflow disruptions for account staff
• Support recruiting efforts with activities such as scheduling interviews, collecting interview feedback, and screening candidates
• Partner with ops team to execute technology implementation projects and provide technology support
• Support performance management by helping maintain status trackers and keep teams on track with performance reviews and feedback
• Work with specialty teams to schedule agency meetings and other activities
• Partner with ops team to support monthly all-agency meetings, including agenda and deck development
• Look for new ways to implement AI to improve overall efficiency across operations activities
• Other duties, as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Typically an undergraduate degree or relevant combination of education and experience in business administration, human resources, accounting, etc.
• Interest in learning all aspects of operations (finance and people) and willingness to jump in to support on a variety of tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Proficiency with Google Suite and AI platforms such as Claude and Gemini
• Excellent time management, project management and organizational skills
• Team-oriented approach to all activities
