Job Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Litigation Paralegal with a real estate litigation firm based in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will handle various aspects of litigation and will have the opportunity to specialize in San Francisco housing law.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to attorneys and help manage all aspects of cases, including drafting various legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to landlord/tenant law and Unlawful Detainer procedures, staying up-to-date on changes in legislation and case law.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel, providing timely updates and information regarding case status.
• Organize and maintain case files, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all documents, including pleadings, discovery, and correspondence.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including preparing exhibits, witness binders, and trial notebooks.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3+ years of litigation experience
• Experience or familiarity with Unlawful Detainer law is preferred
• P‍aralegal Certificate or equivalent is required
