Summary:

We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented, and proactive Family Assistant to provide part-time household support in a warm and pet-friendly home. The ideal candidate will help manage day-to-day tasks such as light meal prep (chopping, marinating, etc.), kitchen maintenance (dishes, counters, floors), family laundry (wash, dry, fold, and put away), and general tidying of common areas. Additional responsibilities include pet care—letting the puppy out, assisting with house training, feeding pets, maintaining their areas, and walking the dogs. Light organizational support, such as prepping school lunches or tidying up toys, is also appreciated. This role is essential in keeping the household running smoothly so the parent can be fully present with the children. A calm, forward-thinking, and supportive presence is key.

Required Skills:

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar household or family assistant role and possess strong attention to detail. They should be able to follow instructions with minimal oversight and feel comfortable managing multiple pets, including dogs and cats. The family values someone who is reliable, discreet, and capable of taking initiative while maintaining a clean and organized environment. This is a role for someone who enjoys being helpful in the background and understands how to support a busy household. Bilingual skills would be a plus, but are not required.

Days & Hours:

M-F, 20 hours a week with a 1pm or 2pm start time. Some flexibility needed

3-5 Years Experience, Perfect DMV
