Job Description

Position Summary: 
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-driven Payroll Assistant (or Junior Payroll Analyst) to help manage the payroll processing for our team. This early-career role will provide valuable hands-on experience in payroll while working closely with the payroll team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. 

Responsibilities: 

• Assist in processing and reviewing payroll data for accuracy and completeness. 

• Maintain accurate employee payroll records and assist with updates as needed. 

• Assist in the preparation and reconciliation of payroll reports. 

• Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and ensure prompt resolution. 

• Support compliance efforts by helping with reporting, tax filings, and maintaining proper documentation. 

• Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll-related data. 

• Help with additional administrative tasks related to payroll and employee benefits. 

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

• 1+ year of experience in a payroll or HR support role (internships or part-time experience are acceptable). 

• Basic knowledge of payroll processing and tax regulations. 

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. 

• Strong proficiency in Excel or similar data management tools. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines effectively. 

Education and Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. 

• Experience with payroll software (e.g., Paycom, ADP) is a plus.
