Core Responsibilities

• Design, install, and maintain a robust database infrastructure.
• Optimize database performance and scalability to meet business goals.
• Develop and refine relational database structures.
• Oversee disaster recovery systems and business continuity processes.
• Manage database security, including access control and intrusion prevention.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance database-related workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the database environment.
• Guide leadership on emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Document database systems, policies, and processes for internal use.

Required Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL Development in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in Linux server administration related to database management.
• Experience in designing scalable, high-availability systems.
• Strong ability to analyze and resolve technical challenges.
• Proven capability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across teams.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with POS systems.
• Familiarity with cloud-based and on-premises database solutions.
• Knowledge of systems monitoring tools in large-scale environments.
