Procurement Manager | Midland, TX

Want to join a pioneering aerospace company working to deliver global 4G/5G connectivity through space-based cellular networks?

They are looking for a Procurement Manager to oversee purchasing operations and supplier management across its North American division. This role will focus on developing sourcing strategies, driving cost savings, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and strengthening vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead procurement strategy aligned with company goals
• Oversee end-to-end P2P process and vendor coordination
• Coach and support buying team on procurement best practices
• Collaborate with Supply Planning, Engineering, and Manufacturing to ensure material availability
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal pricing and terms
• Serve as key escalation point for supply chain disruptions or shortages
• Strengthen internal alignment with departments including Finance, Legal, and IT
• Drive cost reduction, risk mitigation, and supply chain resilience
• Optimize procurement systems (e.g., ERP) and implement automation tools
• Track KPIs, supplier performance, and support continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related (MBA preferred)
• 8+ years in procurement or supply chain, ideally in manufacturing or industrial sectors
• Strong ERP/MRP knowledge (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Skilled in sourcing, contract negotiation, vendor management
• Proven leadership of cross-functional teams in dynamic environments
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
• Familiar with procurement risk, compliance, and strategic supplier partnerships
