Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Python Developer to join our team at DTCC . The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python application development, SQL querying, working with Snowflake, and the ability to work within large enterprise environments. You should also have a solid understanding of AWS Cloud technologies and experience working in Agile Development teams. This position will focus on developing financial applications, ideally related to Risk Management .

Mandatory Skills:

• SQL Querying & Snowflake: Strong experience in SQL querying and managing data within Snowflake for large datasets.
• Enterprise Environments: Proven experience working in large enterprise environments with scalable solutions.
• Python Expertise: Extensive experience in Python and building enterprise applications using Python.
• Multithreading & Multiprocessing: Hands-on experience with Python multithreading and multiprocessing applications for efficient execution.
• Pandas & Libraries: Good understanding and experience with pandas and other Python libraries for data manipulation.
• SQL & Snowflake: Strong experience in SQL , with Snowflake being a major plus.
• AWS Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with AWS Cloud technologies for cloud-based solutions.
• Agile Development: Experience working in Agile development teams to deliver high-quality software.
• CI/CD Tools: Experience with enterprise CI/CD tools like Jenkins and version control systems such as Git .
• Financial Applications: Experience developing financial applications , ideally focused on Risk Management .
• Automated Testing: Hands-on experience writing automated test cases using tools like pytest or unittest .

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Python applications to meet business needs, focusing on enterprise-level solutions .
• Work with Snowflake to query and manage data efficiently in a large-scale environment.
• Build multithreaded and multiprocessing applications for improved performance.
• Collaborate with teams in Agile development processes to ensure timely and high-quality deliveries.
• Utilize AWS Cloud technologies for building and deploying scalable cloud-based applications.
• Work with CI/CD tools like Jenkins for automated integration and deployment processes.
• Develop financial applications that focus on Risk Management and ensure compliance and security standards.
• Write automated test cases using pytest or unittest to ensure high-quality code.
