This is a remote position.
RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking an experienced registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) to provide virtual weight management and lifestyle counseling services. This 100% remote, full-time (40 hours/week) position offers flexibility while allowing you to make a meaningful impact on clients' health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized medical nutrition therapy (MNT) with a focus on sustainable weight management.
- Conduct virtual consultations to assess nutritional needs and create personalized weight loss and lifestyle plans.
- Educate clients on evidence-based weight management strategies, behavior modification, and lifestyle changes.
- Monitor progress and adjust care plans as needed to optimize client success.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive client care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Required Qualifications
- Registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) credential.
- Active state licensure (or eligibility for licensure).
- Minimum of two years of experience in outpatient care, weight management, or lifestyle counseling.
- Strong understanding of evidence-based weight management principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate clients.
- Proficiency in telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHRs).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with telehealth or virtual client care.
- Specialized certifications in weight management, behavior change, or related fields.
- Training in motivational interviewing and other behavior change techniques.
