Company: 

David creates tools to increase muscle and decrease fat. Our first product is a protein bar. More broadly, David is a platform to develop high-protein, low-calorie, blood-sugar-friendly foods that are craveable.

Role and Responsibilities:

The Retail Account Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with retail partners. You will be focused on building robust partnerships, aligning our sales strategies with retailer needs, working with regional distributors, and ensuring our products are positioned for optimal performance.

  • Create tailored sales strategies for various retailers, ensuring they align with our overarching brand strategy
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers
  • Work closely with distributors to optimize our footprint and ensure execution at retail
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Supply Chain teams to support the execution of promotion strategies
  • Tailor promotional and merchandising strategies to the unique requirements of each retailer ensuring our products are optimally positioned to capture consumer interest
  • Ensure compliance with each retailer's standards, advocating for David’s brand values and objectives to maintain a premium product presence
  • Leverage consumer data and industry trends to inform strategic planning and drive decisions

Practicalities:

  • This is a full-time role that will require significant travel, as needed, to retail partners and to relevant tradeshow events.
  • Cash compensation: $110-$130k per year, inclusive of cash bonus based on attainment of company targets.
  • In addition to cash compensation, this role includes a company equity opportunity.
  • 100% covered Health, Vision, Dental Insurance.
  • 401(k).
  • Substantial and required PTO.
  • We work in the office 5 days per week in New York City – when culture lines up, it is fun to be in the office together.
