We are looking for an experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join our te am. The Senior Accountant plays a vital role in supporting this by supporting day-to-day accounting activities to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies. This role supports business operations by supporting key accounting functions while contributing to a collaborative and efficient work environment. The Senior Accountant works closely with internal teams to maintain financial accuracy, streamline processes, and support overall company objectives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not necessarily limited to:

• Assist in all accounting functions, including month-end closing processes (prepare/review journal entries, report analyses).
• Assist the Controller with year-end audit and tax requests.
• Review and assist in improving internal controls.
• Perform monthly/quarterly balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Review, code and reconcile bank accounts transactions.
• Ensure compliance with leases, contracts, licensing agreements, business licenses and registrations, and sales taxes including preparing/reviewing reports, reconciliations and payments.
• Assist in forecasting cash flows.
• Leverage automation opportunities within existing business systems.
• Administer the corporate credit card program.
• Fixed asset accounting, including capitalization decisions, asset life determination, depreciation calculations, and subledger maintenance.
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate regularly with team members and other departments.
