Job Description:

• This position is for an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis professional (Senior Cost Accountant).
• The candidate selected will be supporting Plant 1 operations financial reporting.
• Candidate must be strong in extracting and managing large amounts of data from centralized systems using Microsoft Excel.
• Candidate must be able to analyze operations results from various data sources and communicate concerns and issues to management.
• Position requires interaction with multiple functional areas (primarily Operations, Quality and SIOP) and all levels of management requiring strong written and verbal communication skills.
• This position does not have any direct reports.

Responsibilities:

• Operations point of contact supporting operations management including SIOP and Quality on all finance matters
• Execute the monthly and quarterly financial closing process including the preparation of journal entries, forecast and variance explanations
• Execute all financial planning and analysis activities for operations including the development of all short- and long-term financial plans, forecasts, and operational metrics
• Execute all financial planning and analysis activities for Capital Expenditures for all of Plant 1 operations and Program including all short- and long-term financial plans and forecasts
• Prepare reports for management for a variety of factory metrics and certain operations spend categories
• Ability to work closely with a cross functional team and provide timely and accurate financial data that helps drive appropriate business decisions and resolves issues
• Preparation of monthly account reconciliations
• Ad hoc reporting/financial analysis as requested by management

Requirements:

• Inventory, Manufacturing Operations support and Capex.
• Ensure 100% compliance with all financial and business controls and adherence to all Sarbanes Oxley requirements including documentation and testing of business controls
• Government accounting requirements, DCMA / DCAA audits and reporting requirements, and Client internal audits.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
