Job Title: Senior Income Tax Associate

Locations:  Los Angeles, CA / Orange County, CA / San Francisco, CA

Base Salary: $235,000-$255,000/year

Job Overview:

We’re seeking an experienced Attorney with 6+ years of substantive tax experience (with emphasis on transactional tax) to join our Taxation, Trusts & Estates department.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Ideal candidates will bring experience leading tax components in M&A or real estate transactions, including managing junior associates or paralegals and maintaining strong client relationships.
• The role emphasizes pass-through entities and C-Corporation planning, including QSBS and irrevocable trust structuring, covering areas like M&A transactions, family office planning, real estate ventures, estate planning, internal restructurings, as well as litigation and employment disputes.
• Strong academic credentials, coupled with excellent writing, interpersonal, and communication skills, are essential.
• Candidates should be comfortable working collaboratively within a team environment while managing significant individual responsibilities.
• Previous large firm experience and an LL.M. in Taxation are advantageous.
• Active admission to the California State Bar is required.
