Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Service Writer who will be responsible for communicating with drivers about their coach needs and creating repair orders. In this position, you will be expected to accurately document driver concerns and coach issues from pre and post trip reports, recommend services and repairs, schedule appointments with Prevost for all warranty repairs.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with drivers to understand their service needs and concerns
• Write and submit service orders for repairs and maintenance
• Close completed work orders in a timely manner
• Schedule appointments for service and follow up for completion deadlines
• Provide accurate estimates of service costs and timelines
• Coordinate with mechanics and technicians to ensure timely and efficient service
• Maintain detailed records of service history
• Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with billing and invoicing for completed services
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new service offerings

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in Fleetio a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in computer software and programs
• Experience in the automotive industry preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in customer service or sales
• Knowledge of automotive products and services

Physical and Safety Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance.
