Position Details:
📌 Location: Burlington County DOC
⏳ Schedule: Full-Time, Evening Shift
Responsibilities:
🔹 Conduct emergency clinical assessments for individuals in emotional distress
🔹 Review and co-sign mental health screenings for new arrivals
🔹 Develop individualized treatment plans, including referrals and counseling
🔹 Complete initial clinical assessments for high-risk individuals within 3 days
🔹 Provide brief individual or group counseling when clinically appropriate
🔹 Assess individuals on suicide precautions and determine necessary actions
🔹 Assist with mental health service referrals at the time of release
🔹 Maintain documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives
🔹 Collaborate with medical and custody staff and provide training as needed
Qualifications:
✔ Master’s degree required (license preferred)
✔ Professional certification required
✔ Knowledge of correctional, judicial, and mental health systems
✔ Strong crisis intervention and counseling skills
✔ Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
