Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Technical Specialist III to support transmission line engineering activities for capital project development and execution. This role will serve as a critical liaison between internal teams and external vendors, ensuring that engineering schedules, documentation, and deliverables are accurately maintained and effectively managed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare a wide range of technical documentation in support of transmission line engineering projects.
• Input and maintain data in project management and engineering tools such as Primavera P6 , Maximo , and AutoCAD .
• Develop and issue Requests for Service (RFS) to initiate consultant bidding and support contract development for capital projects.
• Act as the single point of contact for validating and tracking monthly engineering schedule commitments.
• Manage the flow of engineering and documentation deliverables to and from contracted vendors and consultants.
• Coordinate the processing and tracking of all vendor-submitted documents into the document control system.
• Support data management initiatives using Maximo Asset Automation tools.
• Assist with the creation and monitoring of materials and Work Orders .
• Prepare and manage permitting documents for roadways , railroads , and the FAA .
• Support the development and standardization of line engineering job packages , gathering input from Responsible Engineers and Managers.
• Maintain and update the team’s SharePoint site.
• Develop technical job aids to enhance training, team development, and efficient project execution.
• Perform additional related duties as required.

Experience Required:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a technical or engineering support role.
