Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Teradata Developer for a Contract job with a client in Plano, TX(hyrid role). Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the financial services industry.

Pay Range: $55 - $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors .

Responsibilities:

• Proficiency in Teradata, with work experience on Teradata V 17.20 or higher.
• Experience as a Teradata Architect or DBA.
• Expertise in Teradata database cloud migration.
• Experience in administrating Teradata databases, including upgrades, performance tuning, and managing backup solutions like DSA and Data Domain.
• Proficient in SQL and Teradata utilities such as TPT, BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, and TPump.
• Evaluate Teradata platform features and develop strategic roadmaps.
• Create standards and integration patterns for the Teradata platform.
• Execute and socialize Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
• Establish foundational architectures for new capabilities.
• Coordinate pilot onboarding for new capabilities.
• Support teams with key feature implementations, troubleshooting, and remediation for Teradata users and applications.
• Contribute to the creation of the Teradata Platform Strategy and Roadmap
