-Proficient in AutoCAD 2D

One of Insight Global's industrial services partners is looking for an experienced Electrical Designer to join their team in Houston, TX. This is a seconded assignment based in Houston. Daily, this person will be responsible for overseeing all electrical designing for their projects. They will also be traveling 75% of the time, vising their clients’ plants. When traveling going to be doing project work. The plants are recycled glass processing. They make glass dust that goes into fiber.
Responsibilities:
- As-Built One-Line Diagrams: Create and update as-built one-line diagrams.
- Project Evaluation: Assess Electrical projects and review drawings provided by third-party vendors.
- Field Construction Oversight: Lead field construction for small-cap Electrical projects, including obsolescence, new equipment installations, and upgrades to problematic existing electrical equipment (conveyor belts).
