NEEDED: Ultrasound Technician / Echocardiogram Technician

LOCATION: 4200 Bureau Road North, Terre Haute, Indiana 47808

STATUS: As Needed - Two visits per month per technician, not to exceed 8 hours per day, 185 hours per year.

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, excluding federal holidays. between 7:30AM and 4:00PM

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have one year of experience.
• Shall have current certification to your chosen field of expertise that permits you to practice uniform Ultrasound and Echocardiogram in the State of Indiana.
• Technologists will be familiar with managing and supervising a hospital-based Ultrasound Services Department regarding FDA, OSHA, ACA, and AAAHC.

JOB DUTIES:

• Provide Ultrasound/Echocardiogram services - to include taking, processing, and submitting interpretation of films.
• The interpretation should be a typed report and faxed or emailed to FCC Terre Haute Health Services Unit the next business day.
• Abnormal results/interpretation shall be telephoned to the Clinical Director upon receipt and interpretation of the films and/studies.
• Direct entry into the inmates’ medical record by the contractor is not permitted. Each patient encounter will be documented using an official consultation form (SF-513).
