Job Description
Quail & Condor is an award winning bakery founded by ex Michelin chefs. Our standards are high and we are fast paced, but we love to have a good time while doing it all.
Viennoiserie is our largest and most poplar area of production: that being croissants of all different shapes, cinnamon rolls and challah.
Responsibilities
- Perform mix, prep, and baking tasks to Q&C standards for croissant and various viennoiserie
- Work with focus, efficiency, and sense of urgency.
- Complete prep list and cleaning by the end of scheduled shift.
- Follow guidelines for lamination of croissant dough
- mix & shape challah and mix & shape cinnamon rolls
- Let management know if there are dry goods/produce etc. that need to be ordered for the next day or if inventory is being depleted.
- Responsible for writing prep and mix tasks on to-do list when items are low.
- Responsible for doing dishes throughout the day and keeping the dish station clean.
- Assist in putting orders and ingredients away.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- check for any special/large orders and implement into the week's production
- Learn to use the proof box and its settings
- Light interaction with guests as your station is in the front room where guests are passing by
Qualifications
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
