Job Description

The Moret Group Supervisor will supervise and coordinate daily with the Operations team to achieve the maximum quality and cost effectiveness.

Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provides direct supervision to warehouse personnel.
  • Ensures the safe, clean, and efficient operation of the warehouse meets service standards.
  • Ensures compliance with all company and customer policies and procedures.
  • Assists in developing a program to train and motivate personnel for increased effectiveness.
  • Develops and implements work schedules and assignments to assure effective and efficient operations.
  • Makes recommendations to the Operations Manager on programs to improve warehouse operations.
  • Directs the operations of the warehouse personnel to achieve company objectives.
  • Develops and maintains a productive staff by creating programs for training and professional development.
  • Demonstrates future vision and continual improvement of processes and people.
  • Ensures that equipment is utilized in the most efficient manner.
  • Coordinate the maintenance of equipment with the Manager.
  • Maintains a professional and courteous relationship with customers and ensures that all personnel do the same.
  • Supervises all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure they are correct and carried out in a timely fashion.
  • Meets KPI’s per hour; cases/lines/LPN’s goals.
  • Tracks projects completed on time / including small parcels.
  • Reviews productivity reports for any idle time.
  • Utilizes the daily labor planer tool to track productivity.
  • Daily, hourly check for anything that is nearing cancel date.
  • Identifies the root cause of any delays in processing orders.
  • Conduct daily process observations and report results.
  • Conducts monthly safety training.

SHIFT: M-F

(2nd shift) 1:30pm-10:00pm Sundays as needed. Must be flexible with shift based on business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a warehouse or distribution environment, Apparel industry preferred.
  • Computer applications using MS office.
  • Computer applications experience using Warehouse Management System desired.
  • Working knowledge of warehouse / mechanical equipment
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT regulations and the willingness to become certified in one or more of these areas as necessary.
  • Excellent supervisory skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills

Communication Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups, customers, or employees of the organization.

Operate MHE throughout the shift. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
