Job Description

We are looking for an Accounting Administrative Assistant to support a growing restaurant and catering business. This position provides valuable hands-on experience in sales support, administrative coordination, and event operations, offering opportunities for professional and financial growth in a dynamic hospitality environment. The position is onsite in Jackson, MS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for day-to-day operations.
  • Track deadlines, manage files, and support general office functions.
  • Prepare internal documents and reports.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Handle client invoicing and payment tracking.
  • Support payroll processing and maintain related records.
  • Coordinate event scheduling and staff assignments.
  • Communicate with clients to confirm event details and timelines.

Requirements

  • Associate degree preferred.
  • Experience using QuickBooks, Excel, and Word.
  • Exposure to Paycom (payroll) and TripleSeat (scheduling) is helpful.
  • Comfort with technology and willingness to learn new systems.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage tasks with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work well with a team.
  • Hospitality experience a plus.

Compensation

$18-24/hr, depending on experience

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm
