Job Description

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team. This position is perfect for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to a dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Processing invoices and ensuring accuracy of payment information.
• Maintaining vendor records and handling vendor inquiries.
• Reconciling accounts payable transactions and monitoring accounts to ensure timely payments.
• Preparing and processing electronic transfers and payments.
• Assisting with month-end closing and financial reports.
• Supporting the finance team with other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Work Hours:

The position requires full-time availability, Monday through Friday, with typical office hours.
