As a Content & SEO Manager , you’ll be responsible for creating and managing high-quality, engaging content that drives organic growth and enhances brand visibility. As a key contributor to our content strategy, you’ll develop diverse content types, including articles, blog posts, press releases, email newsletters, video scripts, case studies, and LinkedIn posts, ensuring each piece is SEO-optimized and meets our high standards for quality and relevance.

We are located in Santa Clara, California, and are looking for local candidates only. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

  • This is a hybrid position. 3 days onsite in Santa Clara

Responsibilities

  • Createhigh-quality, engaging content, including articles, blog posts, press releases, email newsletters, video scripts, case studies and LinkedIn posts.
  • Conduct thorough keyword research, analyze competitor content, and optimize content for searchability on search engines using SEO best practices.
  • Proofread, edit, and publish content in our proprietary CMS and in WordPress.
  • Perform quality control of all content and be fully accountable for the final published content.
  • Publish and QA each article/blog once it’s live, troubleshoot if necessary.
  • Brainstorm new content ideas with the larger marketing team to develop a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with business goals and drives organic growth.
  • Stay updated on SEO trends, AI SEO tools, algorithm changes, and content marketing strategies to ensure our content strategy remains competitive and innovative.
  • Grow organic traffic to the website by creating pages, enhancing indexing, and experimenting with innovative strategies to improve search results on AI platforms like ChatGPT and Perplexity.
  • Manage press releases via our partner sites and agencies.
  • Create and maintain a streamlined quarterly content calendar.
  • Perform regular content audits to ensure content is accurate, optimized, updated, and relevant to the target audience.Proactively identify broken links, website content rendering, and duplicate content issues
  • Provide monthly performance reports using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs) to monitor content performance, keyword rankings, and gaps, offering actionable insights for optimization.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of content marketing and SEO principles, including keyword research, on-page optimization, link building, and technical SEO.
  • Experience with SEO and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs) and a data-driven approach to measuring content effectiveness.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to create engaging content that resonates with the target audience.
  • Strong experience using CMS (eg. Wordpress). Knowledge of HTML, CSS is required.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a similar field. Experience in international marketing is a strong plus.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience creating and managing content.
