Job Description

MAU is hiring a Customer Account Specialist for Hagler Systems in Augusta, GA. As a Customer Account Specialist, you will manage customer inquiries, generate timely quotes, process orders, and provide updates, ensuring a seamless customer experience from inquiry to delivery. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Shift Information:

  • Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Required Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong computer, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with ERP software (Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics a plus)
  • Prior experience demonstrating excellent service skills
  • Strong organization and time management abilities
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree

Essential Functions:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to Requests for Quotations (RFQs)
  • Provide complete quotes with recommended parts, pricing, delivery, shipping terms, and company policies
  • Ensure all quotations are accurate and distributed to relevant parties in a timely manner
  • Maintain part numbers, pricing, and customer data in the ERP system
  • Receive and validate customer purchase/sales orders for accuracy and alignment with quotes
  • Draft, issue, and communicate sales order confirmations
  • Coordinate with warehouse and customers to ensure delivery expectations are met
  • Enforce terms and conditions, including cancellation and restocking fees
  • Process all sales orders and order necessary items or materials
  • Provide order status updates, including delays or changes
  • Maintain open order reports for vendors and customers
  • Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders
  • Coordinate with logistics for pickups and deliveries
  • Ensure accurate and organized filing in the ERP system
  • Investigate and resolve delivery, shipping, and order issues with documentation
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Receivable to address discrepancies
  • Prepare international sales reports
  • Provide backup support to team members as needed
  • Deliver timely completion of all assigned duties
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and conflicts professionally
  • Demonstrate a personal sense of urgency and ownership
  • Commit to understanding company products and services
  • Champion service improvements and customer satisfaction
  • Understand the relationship between personal tasks and company-wide objectives
