Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Director of Direct Response Marketing is responsible for driving lead generation, customer acquisition, and revenue growth through data-driven, performance-focused marketing strategies. This individual will lead the planning, execution, and optimization of direct response campaigns across digital and traditional channels, with a strong focus on sales enablement and measurable ROI. The ideal candidate will be a highly proficient marketer with expertise in digital tools and platforms, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven ability to generate high-quality leads that convert into revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Sales Enablement

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive direct response marketing strategy to drive qualified leads and sales opportunities.
  • Partner with sales teams to define target audiences, optimize lead quality, and establish seamless handoffs.
  • Design and manage marketing funnels, ensuring high conversion rates at each stage.

Campaign Management

  • Plan, launch, and optimize multi-channel direct response campaigns, including email, paid search, social media, display, and affiliate marketing.
  • Leverage A/B testing, segmentation, and personalized messaging to enhance campaign performance.
  • Analyze and refine campaigns in real time to maximize ROI and meet KPIs.

Digital Marketing Expertise

  • Utilize cutting-edge marketing automation tools and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to drive efficiency and scale.
  • Stay ahead of digital marketing trends, platforms, and technologies, incorporating innovations into campaigns.
  • Manage relationships with digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, Tik Tok, and other programmatic networks.

Data & Analytics

  • Track, measure, and report on campaign performance, lead generation metrics, and overall ROI.
  • Use analytics tools to gain insights into audience behavior and campaign effectiveness.
  • Drive decision-making based on data-driven insights and predictive modeling.

Team Leadership

  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, product, and analytics teams to ensure alignment on goals.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in direct response or performance marketing, with a focus on lead generation and sales-driven marketing.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with digital marketing platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads), CRM and automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), and analytics software (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau).
  • Proven Success: Demonstrated track record of creating high-performing direct response campaigns that deliver measurable sales results.
  • Sales-Focused Mindset: Deep understanding of the sales cycle and ability to align marketing strategies with sales objectives.
  • Analytical Ability: Strong skills in data analysis, ROI tracking, and campaign optimization.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).

This role will be integral to driving revenue growth and fostering alignment between marketing and sales teams. The ideal candidate will thrive in a performance-driven environment and have a passion for leveraging data to achieve ambitious goals.
