Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations across the United States and Canada for a growing manufacturing organization.

This newly established position is a critical leadership role responsible for aligning HR practices with business goals, ensuring compliance across both countries, and strengthening organizational culture and performance.

The successful candidate will bring a balance of strategic perspective and operational execution, with a focus on building scalable systems and supporting a values-driven, results-oriented workforce.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Drive HR functions for U.S. and Canadian operations, including talent acquisition, employee development and performance management, benefits, payroll, PTO and leave management, employee relations, policy and procedure development, compensation management, and legal compliance.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders on organizational design, talent management, and employee development.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and grow top talent.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local employment laws in both countries.
  • Support and enhance the company’s culture, mission, and leadership values through internal communications and HR programs.
  • Lead the continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Coach and develop a high-performing regional HR team.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, or a related field required. Advanced degree/certifications preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive HR leadership experience in complex, multi-site organizations required. Experience with US and Canadian workforces strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in HR operations, employment law (U.S. and Canadian), benefits and payroll administration, full cycle recruitment, training and development, and talent management with robust talent pipeline maintenance.
  • Experience developing, implementing, and continuously improving scalable HR processes in high-growth environments.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
