Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson/Apprentice Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical systems, particularly in industrial settings. This role involves working on various projects, including renovations and installations, while ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial environments.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute electrical work accurately.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
• Conduct voltage tests using voltmeters to ensure proper electrical flow and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Renovate existing electrical systems as needed to improve functionality or comply with updated codes.
• Work with high voltage systems while adhering to safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure project completion within deadlines.

Skills

• Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and technical documents related to electrical installations.
• Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations governing electrical work.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues effectively.
• Experience using various power tools and hand tools relevant to the trade.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety practices in all aspects of work.
