Thread is a fast-growing startup in the tech space, building innovative solutions to redefine the AI Service Desk experience. Our marketing team is focused on creating meaningful engagements, building brand awareness, and fueling growth through high-quality content, events, and public relations.

Role Overview:

As our Marketing Associate, you’ll be responsible for creating dynamic brand experiences through event planning, public relations, and content marketing. You’ll play a key role in generating awareness, nurturing leads, and building relationships within our industry. This is a unique opportunity to develop your marketing career within a collaborative, startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning: Work with marketing manager to lead the planning and executing of industry events, including in-person and virtual field events. Handle event logistics, keep an accurate inventory of swag/collateral and order timely replenishments, manage sponsorships, coordinate pre- and day-of-event details, and create memorable experiences that generate leads and build brand awareness.
  • Public Relations: Work to secure speaking opportunities, podcast features, and media placements that elevate Thread’s profile within the industry. Build relationships with relevant media outlets, podcasters, and conference organizers.
  • Content Marketing: Develop engaging email nurture campaigns, newsletters, and blog articles that resonate with our target audience and contribute to inbound lead generation. Create content strategies that support our growth goals and drive engagement with prospective customers.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, including product, design, and sales, to align messaging and event efforts with business goals.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of marketing experience, preferably in a B2B startup environment.
  • Experience in event planning, public relations, and content marketing with a strong understanding of digital outreach.
  • Familiarity with content marketing tools and platforms such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, and major social media channels.
  • A collaborative, growth-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. (i.e., you’re a word nerd)
