Job Description

As a General Laborer on our Team, you will be directly involved in the preparation, painting, and finishing of industrial parts and machines. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, take pride in quality craftsmanship, and are eager to learn. You must be open to working in different environments, a multitude of different tasks, and on a variety of projects, all with the end goal of successful production.

Key Responsibilities:

Surface Preparation

• Clean and de-grease industrial parts and machines to remove contaminants.
• Use tools such as sandblasters, grinders, and wire brushes to remove rust, old paint, and debris.
• Mask off areas that do not require painting to ensure precision.

Painting Support:

• Mix and prepare paint, coatings, and primers according to specifications.
• Assist painters in applying coatings using sprayers, rollers, or brushes.
• Inspect painted surfaces to ensure uniform application and quality standards.

Equipment Maintenance and Setup:

• Set up and maintain painting equipment, including spray guns, air compressors, and hoses.
• Move and position industrial parts and machines using hoists or forklifts (training provided).
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.

Work Area Organization:

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Properly dispose of used materials, solvents, and waste in compliance with safety standards.

General Support:

• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to contribute to project success.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in industrial painting, construction, manufacturing, or general labor is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to lift and move up to [Weight Limit] pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Familiarity with basic tools and equipment is preferred.
