A global company specializing in ultrapure water systems and industrial water treatment solutions is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Mechanical Cost Estimator for Ultra-Pure Water System.

We are looking for a motivated professional to support our mechanical projects through precise cost analysis and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Description

You will be responsible for independently developing and analyzing cost estimates for construction projects, leveraging advanced expertise in engineering and construction management. This ro

le requires a high level of discretion, sound judgment, and specialized technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate construction cost estimates with minimal supervision.
• Develop project budgets and monitor cost performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate subcontractor proposals and assist in procurement decision-making.
• Perform risk analysis and identify cost-related risks and mitigation strategies.
• Provide strategic cost recommendations and insights to support executive decision-making.

This position is classified as Exempt under the Professional Exemption of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) due to the requirement for advanced knowledge and independent judgment in a specialized field.

Requirements​

• Strong background in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• 3 plus years of proven experience in cost estimation, ideally in industrial equipment or water treatment projects.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and coordination abilities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in UPW (Ultrapure Water) construction is a plus
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering is preferred.

Working Hours and Working Location 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
